COB strip gives a continuous line with no visible dots, which is what a cove detail needs. Colour consistency on the neon range is held to a 3-step MacAdam ellipse.
LED neon flex gives the look of glass neon at low voltage, and it bends in two or three dimensions depending on the profile. Rated life on the long run series is L70B10 greater than 54,000 hours. It suits facades, signage, landscape, hospitality and feature detailing.
For outdoor runs the range is IP67 and IP68, with cut lengths and terminations pre-assembled at the factory so the rating holds. Suitable for facades, gardens, walkways and pool surrounds.
Neon flex fails most often from being bent or twisted against the profile during installation, which cracks the PCB. We supply the handling guidance with the order and stand behind the five-year warranty when it goes wrong anyway.
